All Students
Students are responsible for reviewing the following COVID-19 communications:
- UBC Dietetics COVID 19 Prevention and Response
- UBC COVID-19 Response Page
- LFS COVID-19 Response Page (includes information on FNH & MCML building access, courses that will be offered online etc.)
- UBC Health and Wellbeing During COVID-19
- Email updates from UBC, LFS, and the Dietetics Program
Year 5 Students
- Refer to the Placement Requirements page for practice education information during COVID-19
- Students are asked to check both their health authority and personal emails regularly to receive all updates from both the Dietetics Program and their health authority Core Sites
Year 3 and 4 Students
- Contact LFS Student Services with specific questions that cannot be answered at the above links
- Complete Year 3 and 4 Program Requirements as directed by the Dietetics Program. Some of these requirements may be postponed or adjusted due to COVID-19
Prospective Students
- All application and admissions processes have been adapted to occur remotely
- Refer to the Prospective Students webpages regularly; they will be updated as new processes are established
Year 5 Preceptors and Core Site Coordinators
- Our program COVID 19 Prevention and Response contains the most up-to-date practice education guidance for students, preceptors and site coordinators during COVID-19.
- Updates to this policy will be made as new information emerges and Dietetics Program staff will communicate additional information by email and on the Dietetics Major website as needed
